Applicants who hold a Category A work permit can get a green card directly (and their immediate family as well).
 

Foreign nationals (and their immediate family) are eligible for a green card if they have been working for at least four consecutive years in Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nanjing, or Zhenjiang at the time of application, have a stable residence in China, reside in china for at least 180 days per year, and meet income requirements. They also need to be sponsored by their employer. 
 

Foreign nationals who have relatives in China are eligible if there are Ph.D. holders, have been working for at least four consecutive years in Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Nanjing, Zhenjiang, or model districts at the time of application and reside in china for at least 180 days per year.
