My museum work also included event organizing and planning, GRANT submissions, and cooperative projects with other museums, like the Smithsonian, to promote history.
Approach to Teaching & Learning:
I enjoy teaching because I enjoy sharing what I have learned both in the classroom and from real world experiences. I have always enjoyed learning and sharing with others so it is a pleasure to be able to share and teach to students that are trying to learn as well.
I think education is the best way to find out who we are and what we will enjoy in life. So I enjoy being able to teach students in a variety of ways to make sure that students are able to not just learn, but find out more about themselves.
I think it is important to give students a well balanced education and to use modern day techniques and technology to enhance the learning experience.
Not all students learn the same way, so it is important to keep the teaching methods varied and exciting.
Hobbies:
I enjoy reading books, both fiction and historical. I also like sports, playing games, traveling, and experiencing new cultural practices and people.
